Description of Classes:

Pre-Dance 3's: ($32.00 per month)1/2 hour class for 3 year olds.  Fun, energetic musical movement, rhythm and pre-ballet.  Need: white ballet shoes, tights and leotard.

Pre-Dance 4's: (35.00 per month) 45 minute class.  Includes same as Pre-3's, but they start tap!  Need: Black tap shoes, white ballet shoes, leotards and tights.

Combo: ($40.00 per month) Hour class with tap, pre-jazz and ballet for 5and 6 year olds.  Need:  Black tap shoes, white ballet shoes, leotards and tights.

Tap/Jazz/Ballet I ($45.00 per month) for 1^st graders.  One hour and 15 minute class.  Need: Black tap shoes, white ballet shoes, leotards and tights.

Tap/Jazz/Ballet II ($50.00 per month) for 2^nd graders    Need same as I.

Tap/Jazz/Ballet III ($50.00 per month) for 3^rd graders. (Must take all 3 classes!)  They will have Sharri for tap and jazz, and Jayne for ballet.  They will need one tap/jazz costume and a ballet costume. They also need black tap shoes, pink split sole ballet shoes and black jazz shoes.

Tap and Jazz: These classes are 45 minutes ($30.00 per month) or an hour long ($35.00 per month) each.  These classes are divided by age, experience and ability.  If you are a returning student, your appropriate class has been highlighted.  Need black taps shoes (45 min) or tan tap shoes(hour class), black jazz shoes, leotards and tights, skirt or jazz pants.  Tap and Jazz classes share the same recital costume.

Ballet and Pointe: These classes are 30 minutes ($28.00 per month), 45 minutes ($30.00 per month, or an hour ($35.00 per month) long.  These classes are divided by age, experience and ability.  All classical ballet and pointe classes require pink tights, leotard, soft ballet skirts or dance shorts and split sole pink ballet shoes.  Pointe classes require toe shoes and pads which must be fitted by instructor.  No t-shirts, sweatshirts or dance pants in ballet. Jazz pointe classes require that you buy an extra pair of pointe shoes to be dyed for performance.

*Notice to ballet and pointe students: If you enroll in ballet/pointe, there may be a ballet finale. If there are two shows, you must perform this finale in both shows, even if it is your only dance in that show!

Hip Hop: These classes are 45 minutes each($30.00 per month) or an hour ($35.00) per month  and are for students 4^th grade and up.  The latest fast and funky dances will be taught.  This class is fun!  Since this is not a technique class, students must be enrolled in jazz, ballet or pointe to take this class.  We will probably perform at a Waseca High School basketball game as we have in the past.

Extreme Tap and Jazz: These classes are available by instructors recommendation only.  These classes ($35.00 per month each) and are for the serious dancer only!  Requirements are: Must be enrolled in tap, jazz and ballet or pointe. These 3 types of dance are essential for any serious dance student!  Must sign an attendance policy.  Tap requires split sole tap shoes.  May need additional shoes or costume for these classes!

Private lessons: Private lessons ($45.00 per hour) for technique can be taken by any student pending the teacher’s schedule.  However, only advanced students will be allowed to perform solos and duets in the recital.  This must be determined by the teacher.  Students must be in tap, jazz and ballet/pointe to be in private lessons for solos.  You also must be enrolled in the subject you are taking private lessons in.  Seniors get first priority on private lessons and may bypass some of the above guidelines.
